Mi hanno commissionato la grafica per un negozio ebay, Era tanto tempo che non giocavo un po’ con la grafica ma il risultato non mi dispiace. Grazie a Cheryl Seslar, la mia preferita, per avermi fornito tutti gli elementi di grafica.
I got an order for an ebay front store graphic. I haven’t played with graphics for a long time but I like how the front store came out. thanks to Cheryl Seslar, my favorite, that provided me any single graphics.
Feltro, filo da cucire antracite, pastelli a cera e uccellino come bottone……
Felt, dark grey embroidery floss, crayons and a little bird button……
Ok, ho scoperto una nuova tecnica che mi intriga molto e ho fatto un esperimento…….
I just learned about a new tecnique that’s so cool and I like it very much and I did my first try…..
Ho letto le istruzioni della mia macchina da cucire, una Janome millennium e ho realizzato l’uccellino e il fiore cucendo a mano libera. Poi li ho colorati con i pastelli a cera e ho aggiunto, già che c’ero, altri ricami fatti a macchina con un filo sfumato.
I read my sewing machine instructions, it’s a Janome millennium, and I realised this little bird with the flower by free-hand machine embroidery. Then I colored with crayons and I made also some more embroidery with a special fading thread.
Per la cornice ho usato un cerchietto da ricamo in legno dipinto con la tecnica del dry brush rosso su nero.
For the frame I used a wooden embroidery hoop that I dry brush painted (red over black).
Il Primitive Stitchery SAL ci sarà anche quest’anno!
Chiunque può partecipare, non importa iscriversi, copiate il logo, inseritelo nel vostro blog con il link al mio (grazie!) e aspettate fiduciosi il pattern free del mese. Lo potete realizzare nel mese oppure metterlo da parte e usarlo in un altro momento, potete usare tutta la vostra fantasia per realizzare oggetti creativi con lo stitchery. The Primitive Stitchery SAL is still running in 2010!
Everybody can join the SAL, it doesn’t need a subscription, just copy the logo and insert it into your blog with the link to my blog (thanks!) and faithfully wait for a new free pattern every month. You can realise it within the month or just keep it and do it later, you can use your expertise and fantasy to realise creative craft with the stitchery. If you like to send to me pictures of your stitchery works, I will be glad to post them here.
Se qualcuno di voi si vuole cimentare con un suo disegno stitchery o se siete già dei disegnatori esperti, mandatemi una mail per proporre il disegno per il SAL (gratis, ovviamente!) ed uno di questi mesi troverà la sua collocazione.
Are there some people that like to start drawing doodles for stitchery or are there some stitchery designer that would like to offer a free pattern for this SAL? Just contact me and your pattern will be used within 2010

Ecco il primo progetto per i kit stitchery del 2010. E’ un libriccino di stoffa porta aghi/porta fili. Quella che vedete è la copertina. Lo sfondo è stampato su stoffa, il disegno è stato ricamato e poi colorato con i gessetti.
Here it is my first stitchery kit project for the 2010. it is a needlebook. The cover is shown, The flowered background has been printed on the fabric, the pattern has been stitched and colored with chalks.
Il pattern è di Chestnut Junction da cui ho avuto da poco l’autorizzazione per utilizzare i suoi prim patterns nei miei stitchery kit con la stoffa pre-stampata
The pattern is by Chestnut Junction from whom I got the licence to use her prim patterns for my stitchery kits with pre-printed fabric.
E questo è l’interno realizzato con lino tinto nel the e delle sagome realizzate in feltro e tagliate con la Sizzix.
And here it is a look to the internal side that has been realised with tea dyed linen and felt shapes cut with Sizzix-
Ho stampato su una carta da acquerello abbastanza spessa i miei lavori delle petit dolls, Angelo dello Spirito e Sognando la Musica, e sono diventati dei segnalibri…..
I printed my petit dolls artworks, Angel of Spirit and Dreaming of Music, onto a thick watercolor paper and they became bookmarks…
Ho usato degli acrilici metallici (oro, bronzo e viola) con un medium per renderli ad effetto trasparente (Faux Glazing medium della DECOART) per ritoccare principalmente lo sfondo e fare la base della parte posteriore……..
I used some metallic acrylic paints (gold, dark gold and violet) with the use of a medium to let them transparent (Faux Glazing medium from DECOART) and I applied this transparent colors on the background of the picture and for the basecoat on its back side ……
Ho usato dei timbri e dell’inchiostro anticante (ink distress tea dyed), ho rifinito tutto con una finitura trasparente Mod Podge, fatto un buchetto e messo l’occhiello di metallo.
Per i peneri ho messo quello che ho trovato per casa, un filo di lana con l’anima di carta, dei nastrini di raso, dei fili metallici da ricamo e dei fili di seta. In cima ai nastrini, delle perline bianche e rosate.
I used stamps and ink ((ink distress tea dyed), I sealed both sides with Mod Podge and used a metallic eyelet for the top.
The fun tassel is made of things I found around the house, woll floss, rbbons, metallic and silk embroidery floss. I used also beads on the top of the ribbons.
